About the Role:

Join our team as a Journeyman Electrician, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our electrical products. You'll be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and tests on electrical components, subassemblies, and finished goods, ranging from intricate control cabinets to large-scale modular buildings. Your attention to detail and expertise will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality, safe, and reliable products to our customers. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong electrical background and a commitment to maintaining rigorous quality standards. This is a full-time position.

What You'll Be Working On:
  • Electrical Inspections: Conduct ongoing inspections of all electrical installations, subassemblies, and finished goods to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Process Audits: Execute audits of electrical assembly, control wiring, power distribution wiring, and commercial wiring installation processes.
  • Testing and Reporting: Assist in or prepare testing and commissioning reports to document product performance and compliance.
  • Quality Standards Documentation: Document quality standards and specifications related to electrical installations and assembly, and collaborate on training.
  • Compliance Verification: Ensure all work is executed per approved standards and drawings, identifying and addressing deviations.
  • Non-Conformance Documentation: Document material non-conformances found during inspections of work in process, finished goods, and receiving.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with safety, engineering, and manufacturing teams to improve design for manufacturing and reduce inefficiencies.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure product designs comply with regulatory, commercial code, customer specifications, and engineering standards.
  • Tool Calibration: Assist with the execution of the tool calibration program, focusing on electrical test equipment.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other job duties as assigned to support the quality assurance process.

What You'll Bring to the Team:
  • Detail Orientation: Must be detail-driven with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Analytical and Decision-Making: High-level analytical ability and sound decision-making skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
  • Electrical Experience: Journeyman Electrician with 5+ years of industry experience or 7+ years in electrical assembly/inspection.
  • Electrical Systems Knowledge: Previous exposure to low and medium voltage electrical installations.
  • Standards Knowledge: Working knowledge of IEC, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and NETA testing specifications.
  • Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers, VFDs, HMI, MCC, and UPS.
  • Component Identification: Ability to identify electrical components, hardware, and equipment.
  • Schematic Interpretation: Ability to read, understand, and trace electrical schematics.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills with Word/Excel experience; scheduling software knowledge is a plus.
  • Safety and Compliance: This position is designated a safety-sensitive position and/or is located in a safety-sensitive facility. Drug and alcohol program participation is required. Must be able to pass a background check.

Compensation Range:

Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $38 - $41/hour + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
