Joint Fires SME

The Opportunity:

As a Joint Fires SME you’ll bring your strategic, tactical, and technical, expertise to work on projects for special operations missions. As a SME you will leverage your experience as a Conventional Joint Fires and Targeting Expert to contribute to the success of a multi-domain mission set. The planning and execution of tactical level fires will be enhanced by your ability to coordinate and control tactical fires elements, perform post-strike combat effectiveness assessments, provide innovative solutions to complex problem sets, and make recommendations to operational planners based on your tactical experience. You'll need to have an understanding of the joint targeting process. You'll work with other joint fires professionals to develop TTPs and support and sustain a modeling and simulation capability for exercises conducted across the joint force

You Have:

• 8+ years of experience in a tactical environment conducting mission sets

• Experience in a joint operational environment, including direct combat

• Experience with the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) including JP 3-09 Joint Fire Support 

• Knowledge of tactical fire control measures and doctrine 

• Knowledge of the SOF and Conventional Joint Fires Kill-Chain doctrine

• Knowledge of targeting processes

• TS/SCI clearance

• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with exercises and wargaming

• Experience with ISR mission or intelligence product support

• Experience in a Joint Command or Service operations center

• Knowledge of joint targeting platforms and integration 

• Knowledge of system engineering methodologies

• Knowledge of system integrations and interoperability

• Knowledge of data science and analytics concepts

• Knowledge of DoD requirements and acquisition processes

• Knowledge of Signals Intelligence capabilities and Cyber Applications

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
