The Quality Manager develops and implements the corporate quality strategy, manages Alfa Laval's quality standards for goods and services, drives development, updates and implementation of policies and procedures, and supports the deployment of the Quality Management System. Your impact will be felt as you make a real difference in shaping our quality culture and customer experience.

Are you a detail-oriented professional passionate about driving quality and excellence? Join our team as a Quality Manager and play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing our Quality Management System across the Sales Company, including Service Centers, Field Service, Customer Experience, and Sales. You'll take ownership of Claims/Warranty responsibilities, collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes, and implement solutions that ensure a premium customer experience.

This is truly a collaborative role, located in Houston, TX, Greenwood, IN, or Richmond, VA reporting to the Operations Development Manager.

As a part of the team, you will:
  • Own Claims/Warranty responsibility for the US Sales Company, ensuring swift and effective resolution
  • Investigate quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformities; implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust Quality Management Systems (QMS) for the US Sales Company
  • Standardize and sustain processes throughout the organization for consistency and efficiency
  • Drive compliance with all customer, governmental, and industry requirements
  • Lead internal and external audits; ensure ongoing compliance with industry standards
  • Train and mentor teams on quality standards and best practices, fostering a culture of excellence
  • Collaborate with global Quality teams for benchmarking and support
  • Prepare and present insightful quality reports to senior management
  • Identify key areas for improvement and set priorities for impactful initiatives
  • Lead and manage improvement projects from inception to completion
  • Develop the Quality Team through leadership and mentorship to achieve ambitious quality objectives
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

What you know:

You have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Operations Management, or equivalent professional experience in a related field, and:
  • Results-oriented, data-driven leader with a proven track record in Quality Management
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality as a Quality Manager, Quality Engineer, or similar role
  • Experience in quality management or supervisory roles
  • Demonstrated expertise with ISO-based quality systems
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other improvement methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt a plus)
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., VISIO, MS Project)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 40% across the U.S.
