  • Job Description:

    Looking for an Electrical Design Engineer with strong experience in Power Electronics design for aerospace flight control systems, engine control systems, cabin systems, and ground vehicle drive systems.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Design of DC/DC and AC/DC high-reliability power electronics (20W-500W range)
    • Circuit design including part selection, schematic capture, PWB support, simulation, analysis, and verification testing


    Mandatory Skills:

    • BSEE or equivalent technical degree
    • 12+ years of power conversion design experience
    • Experience with converter topologies such as Buck, Boost, Flyback, Forward, Push-Pull, Half-Bridge, Cuk, Sepic, etc.
    • Magnetics design experience
    • Strong knowledge of MOSFETs, Schottky Diodes, IGBTs
    • Control loop analysis
    • Experience with PSPICE, MathCad
    • Experience with DC/DC converters, motor drives, gate drives, analog circuitry, and magnetics
    • Strong team collaboration skills and self-driven attitude


    Preferred Skills:

    • High-power converter/motor drive design up to 500kW and 1000V+ DC link voltages
    • Synchronous rectification, multi-phase converters, resonant/current-fed converters
    • Radiation hardened / SEE immune design
    • MIL-STD-704 and RTCA/DO-160 experience
    • Full lifecycle development experience
    • Software/Firmware controlled power systems
    • EMI filtering and lightning protection
    • Digital design/embedded control experience
