Job description

Infosys is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer.
In the assigned job role of Technology Consultant 2, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle in Java and ReactJS. You will also be expected to build high-throughput, fault tolerant systems with requirements including elicitation, application architecture, definition and design. You will play an important role in creating high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Phoenix, AZ or Sunrise, FL or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Area of Responsibility (Job duties encompassing one or more of the following)
• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, make changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• Experience in Java, Spring boot and React JS.
• Banking domain experience.

Preferred Skills
• Experience in Java and Microservices Development.
• Experience in Java 8, REST, Spring boot, microservices, Kafka or MQ, OpenShift deployments, Spring Security, JPA, XML, XSLT, JAXB, JAXP, MVC, Junit, test framework, various design patterns is must.
• Experience in ReactJS, SOAP and RESTful web services.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
