Job Summary
We are seeking a Java/DevOps Engineer for a true hybrid role evenly split between Java/framework development and DevOps enablement. The engineer will contribute to backend services while driving automation, containerization, CI/CD, and deployment initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across both development and DevOps domains and will collaborate across teams to improve delivery speed and engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop backend services using Spring Boot, Kafka, and microservices architecture.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD.
• Drive containerization and deployment automation.
• Collaborate across teams to enable DevOps practices and improve delivery speed.
• Balance hands-on Java coding with infrastructure and DevOps enablement.
• Contribute to scalable, reliable, and maintainable software solutions.
• Support continuous improvement of development, deployment, and automation processes.
Required Qualifications
• 5-8 years of combined Java development and DevOps experience.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Kafka, and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD.
• Solid experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven ability to work across both development and DevOps domains, with substantial hands-on experience in each area.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, automation, and deployment practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
