Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to contribute to the development, modification, testing, implementation, and evaluation of complex software solutions using Angular and Java frameworks in AWS Cloud. The role will involve analyzing existing solutions, translating requirements into technical solutions, developing and testing applications, troubleshooting production issues, and contributing to continuous improvement within an Agile development environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Contribute to the development, testing, implementation, and review of complex solutions within Angular, Java, and AWS Cloud environments.
• Provide programming support for complex solutions, develop software from established requirements, deploy code, and assess the feasibility of system designs.
• Analyze existing solutions, formulate requirements, perform coding, testing, and debugging activities.
• Provide production support and troubleshooting and recommend improvements to development, maintenance, and technical standards.
• Contribute to the design of technology infrastructure and configurations and recommend process improvements.
• Review complex patches and new application versions and implement software packages and code deployments.
• Compile and maintain technical documentation, including use cases and scripts.
• Conduct technical research and maintain knowledge of relevant technology trends.
• Participate in cross-functional team initiatives and process improvement projects.
• Participate in Agile development activities, including daily scrums and project updates.
• May require extended work hours, on-call support, and occasional travel including overnight stays of 15% or less.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Core Java, Python, and NodeJS, including optimization, performance considerations, and object-oriented design.
• Strong experience with Angular 8 or higher and commonly used Angular modules and development practices.
• Experience with Spring, Hibernate, SQL, JUnit, J2EE, Maven, JAXB, JSON, XML, Microservices, and Log4j2.
• Experience with REST APIs and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience with AWS technologies, including serverless, containers, RDS, storage, and migration services.
• Experience developing and implementing reusable cloud technology patterns and services.
• Experience with Bootstrap, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest, Karma, and Jasmine.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions for technical and business requirements.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in making business decisions.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on data integrity and accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Ability to translate highly technical information into non-technical terms.
• Broad knowledge of programming concepts, practices, and principles, including design, implementation, and testing.
