Job Summary

We are seeking a Java Developer with strong Oracle PL/SQL experience to support a long-term application modernization initiative. The primary focus of this role is converting existing Oracle PL/SQL business logic into Java applications while ensuring functional accuracy, performance, and reliability throughout the migration process.

Key Responsibilities
• Convert Oracle PL/SQL business logic into Java applications as part of a long-term modernization effort.
• Analyze existing PL/SQL code and translate business logic into maintainable Java solutions.
• Ensure existing application functionality is preserved during the conversion process.
• Develop, test, and validate converted Java code to ensure accuracy and performance.
• Work with Oracle databases and write, modify, and optimize SQL queries.
• Implement and maintain transaction management within Java applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support modernization and application enhancement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application functionality and data integrity.

Required Qualifications
• Strong experience with Java application development.
• Extensive experience with Oracle databases.
• Strong hands-on experience with PL/SQL and SQL.
• Experience converting or modernizing legacy applications.
• Strong understanding of transaction management.
• Experience maintaining existing business functionality during application modernization.
• Experience testing and validating converted code.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience participating in large-scale application modernization or migration projects.
