Position Details:Job Title: Java Developer
Location: Manhattan, NY or Plano, TX or Columbus, OH or Wilmington, DE or Jersey City, NJ
Job Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated Java Developer with strong backend expertise in Java The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable microservices, developing cloud-native applications on AWS, and working with relational databases in enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Develop and optimize applications leveraging PostgreSQL and relational database design principles.
- Deploy, manage, and support cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Utilize ECS and Terraform for container orchestration and infrastructure automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization initiatives.
- Contribute to system design discussions and architectural decisions.
Required Qualifications:- 8+ Years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Experience working with relational databases, preferably Aurora PostgreSQL.
- Strong understanding of AWS cloud services.
- Hands-on experience with ECS and Terraform.
- Experience building and supporting distributed applications in production environments.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with Kafka or other messaging/event-streaming platforms.
- Exposure to Spring AI and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

- Database: SQL or NoSQL
- Cloud: AWS
- Messaging: Kafka (Preferred)
Salary and Other Compensation:The annual salary for this position is between $110,000 - $140,000 per annum. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
