Qualifications

• 15+ years of IT experience with a focus on Java/J2EE.
• 5+ years of experience in AWS solution architecture.
• Proficient in Java versions 8/11/17 with frameworks like Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Microservices, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Familiarity with messaging platforms such as Kafka, SNS, and SQS.
• Experienced with Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle, and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL).

Responsibilities

• Develop and support Java/AWS code as needed.
• Define application architecture using Java and AWS services.
• Lead API and microservice design for both internal and external clients.
• Drive practices in cloud-native design, infrastructure automation and CI/CD.
• Implement security and compliance standards for applications.
• Review performance and cost optimization strategies on AWS.
• Conduct architecture reviews and obtain design approvals from stakeholders.
• Design solutions that ensure scalability, availability, and resilience.
• Mentor tech leads and developers on standards and cloud practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
