Raytheon's Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Systems Engineering is seeking an IVV Lead Senior Principal Systems Engineer- Integration and Test Lead with a passion for innovation and the drive to see new technology and capability matured into fielded solutions. The Integration and Test lead is a leader who is responsible for ensuring the successful verification and validation for a high-profile product line. This role will contribute to a team responsible for systems integration verification and validation of a next gen optical system.
What You Will Do- IV&V lead within the System Test & Eval IPTL
- Experienced in leading/directing engineers in the test design, procedure creation, and execution
- Perform analysis, architecture, and design, primarily focusing on the Integration and Testing phases of systems development
- Perform functional analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation for Integration and Test
- Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total system solutions
- Lead Test Readiness Reviews with Customer and Certification Agencies
- Collaborate with Systems Architects, Product Owners, Chief Engineers, to generate Integration and Test Environments and Plans
- Lead Verification, Validation, and Qualification efforts in both Unclassified and Classified environments
- Conduct tests on optical and electrical components and integrated systems, collect test data, and analyze results to optimize performance.
- Identify and resolve issues during testing, support system design enhancements, and provide troubleshooting and calibration for ongoing and specialized programs.
- Mentor junior engineers on Integration, Validation, Verification, and Qualification
Qualifications You Must Have- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience with the systems development process, including requirements capture, design, integration, and verification/validation
- Experience with system software, system hardware, system requirements, and/or test
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer- Background in developing EO/IR tracking solutions and conducting system-level testing
- Knowledge of algorithm design for EO/IR detection, tracking, and target characterization with lab and field validation
- Work in integration labs, test facilities, or field environments supporting system integration and verification
- Ability to present analytical and technical information to leadership and customers
- Agile systems engineering practices
- Automated software build, test, and deployment processes
- Generate integration and test plans for embedded systems and digital hardware

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
