Job Duties

The Information Technology Unit (ITU) provides technology planning and support to the Department to help ensure the successful accomplishment of the Department's mission.

The IT Security Operations Analyst is a critical agency-wide position responsible for supporting IT Security investigations, digital evidence collection, electronic discovery, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, Microsoft Purview activities, forensic operations, and other security-related requests. This position provides essential technical and operational support to ensure the agency can respond efficiently and appropriately to cybersecurity incidents, employee investigations, legal and regulatory requests, litigation holds, internal reviews, and requests for electronically stored information.

Minimum Qualifications

Demonstrates knowledge of digital evidence collection, preservation, and secure handling practices. Understands electronic discovery (eDiscovery) processes, litigation holds, and FOIA-related information handling. Apply cybersecurity principles, investigative procedures, and digital forensic methodologies effectively. Utilizes critical forensic tools, monitoring software, and investigative applications proficiently.
