Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Responsible for the coordination, management, and design of the firm's infrastructure and infrastructure resources
- Manage Local and Wide Area Network
- Manage Microsoft Exchange and SQL Server
- Manage Windows Server environment
- Maintain VMware Virtual Infrastructure
- Maintain shared storage infrastructure
- Manage and maintain layer 2 and layer 3 devices
- Manage and maintain Firewalls
- Manage and maintain Enterprise WWAN
- Actively monitor and maintain all aspects of Active Directory
- Actively monitor backups and maintain network monitoring system
- Provide Tier 3 support to Tier 1 and Tier 2 team members
- Participate in various projects as assigned
- Maintain documentation of all infrastructure systems and actively contribute to knowledge base
- Maintain and refine processes and procedures
- Work with management and other team members on various projects as required
- Provide outstanding customer service to our business and end users
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:- Bachelor's degree in IT related field and 5 years of experience in a Systems Engineer position.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Strong organization skills
- Present professional appearance, possess excellent work ethic and attitude
- Ability to operate in a fast paced, changing environment
- Ability to lead by example, work individually and within a team environment
- Communicate and explain technical issues to non-technical customers
- Possess exceptional troubleshooting skills and knowledge of industry tools used to diagnose and resolve server, network, infrastructure issues
- Expert knowledge of Windows Server operating systems
- Experience in Disaster Recovery planning and implementation. This includes knowledge of Microsoft and VMware replication technologies.
- In depth knowledge of IBM Server hardware, Synology, HP ALLETRA SANs,
- Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Online and Exchange 2019
- In depth knowledge of VMware ESX and ESXi including licensing and patching
- Knowledge of PowerShell and other scripting tools is a huge plus
- Working knowledge of remote connectivity technologies such as Citrix Access Gateway, certificates and VPNs
- Knowledge of HP Procurve layer 2 and layer 3 devices
- Law firm or professional services industry experience a plus
