Position Summary

The ITIL Process Manager is responsible for leading and evolving ITIL capabilities to ensure high-performing, secure, resilient, and cost-effective technology operations aligned with business strategy. The position is accountable for business results primarily achieved through the work of others; this role manages staff, sets direction, and deploys resources while overseeing employee development, performance, compensation, and staffing decisions. The position provides leadership and governance across ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM processes, driving standardization, compliance, and continuous improvement through ITIL best practices, data-driven insights, and automation. In addition, the role partners with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable solutions, and in collaboration with engineering teams ensure successful delivery of projects and services within scope, budget, and quality expectations, and manages vendor relationships to optimize value. The ITIL Process Manager fosters a culture of innovation, accountability, and talent development while maintaining a forward-looking perspective on emerging technologies and process enhancements to support organizational growth and operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily team operations, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement while managing talent lifecycle (recruitment, development, performance, retention).
  • Plan and deliver low- to medium-complexity IT projects, ensuring alignment to timelines, budget, quality standards, and system reliability, security, and availability.
  • Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and contracts to ensure cost-effective delivery of high-quality processes and solutions.
  • Partner with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into optimized processes and effective technical solutions.
  • Align product roadmaps and technology initiatives with business strategy, driving process standardization and continuous improvement using ITIL best practices, KPIs, automation, and data-driven insights to enhance efficiency and user experience.
  • Oversee governance of IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and IT Asset Management (ITAM)-encompassing incident, problem, change, request, monitoring, event management, and asset lifecycle processes-ensuring compliance, operational resilience, cost optimization, service reliability, and alignment with regulatory and business requirements.
  • Monitor technology trends and identify opportunities for system enhancements, process optimization, and policy development to support evolving business needs.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other computer-related degree required.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification preferred
  • Ten (10) or more years of diversified IT experience required.
  • Three (3) or more years of direct or indirect leadership experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver IT products or services aligned with business strategy, including oversight of project timelines and vendor relationships preferred.
  • Experience with Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure preferred.
  • Experience with Portfolio and Product management, particularly in an Agile or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt and execute plans based on established strategies and organizational objectives preferred.
