We are looking for an IT Systems Engineer for our Deland, FL office!This is an onsite, in-person position, not remote or WFMSponsorship is not available for this opportunitySummary: The IT Systems Engineer supports Kingspan America's core IT infrastructure by helping design, implement, and maintain reliable technology solutions that enable business operations. This role applies technical expertise, sound judgment, and strong problem-solving skills to support system performance, security, availability, and continuous improvement across the organization. The position may contribute to or lead infrastructure initiatives that support business objectives and the effective use of technology across Kingspan America.The incumbent should be a proactive, self-directed professional with strong analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Essential Duties:- Implement, manage, and troubleshoot core systems and networking issues.
- Assist in the development, maintenance, implementation, and testing of Disaster Recovery Planning.
- Manage capacity and performance of the backup infrastructure, ensuring the integrity of the infrastructure on a day-to-day basis.
- Monitor backup server environment, acknowledge incidents/problems, and resolve according to organization processes and procedures.
- Provide general core infrastructure support and assistance.
- Assist in the resolution of escalated support desk tickets.
- Create and maintain SOPs and systems documentation.
- Ensure operational compliance within departmental standards and general industry best practices.
- Sharing progress reports with leadership teams and other departments to communicate changes and the implementation of new technologies.
- Lead and manage communication with IT vendors and third-party companies.
- Analyzing network data and infrastructure to determine inefficiencies and problems.
- Managing project timelines, budgets, and documentation according to the PMBOK.
- Managing and administering the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance, and security.
- Implementation, integration, configuration, development, and support of all stages of the SD-WAN process.
- Implementing, maintaining, supporting, developing, and designing communication networks based on Cisco Meraki technologies and equipment.
- As prescribed in the Kingspan IT Manual, maintain and improve data availability, security, and integrity of the IT systems.
- Follow the Group Code of Conduct and Group Compliance.
- Follow Compliance requirements per "KNA-SOP-1705 Compliance Roles and Responsibilities."
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Experience/ Skills:- Minimum 10 years of work experience in a similar role in a corporate environment.
- Cabling and network infrastructure standards and best practices.
- Cloud technology experience with an emphasis on MS Azure.
- Office 365 administration.
- Systems administration, troubleshooting, and management.
- Skilled in Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022 & 2025 Implementation, Troubleshooting & Management.
- VMware/Hyper-V & Virtualization technologies.
- Microsoft Active Directory in a multi-domain environment.
- Security best practices.
- Meraki and Cisco networking.
- Project management.
- Documentation of IT processes, procedures, systems, and incidents, as appropriate.
- Manufacturing environment experience.
- Relevant industry certifications (CCNA, CCAP, MCSE, Azure Administrator, and Azure Network Engineer) are a plus.
