Title:
IT Support Technician
In this role, you will provide end-user IT support that enables daily operations and mission success.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide desktop, peripheral, and user access support for office personnel, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, laptops, printers, and standard business applications.
Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with IT policies and security requirements.
Respond to service desk tickets, diagnose technical problems, and resolve or appropriately escalate issues.
Track IT assets, support equipment moves and upgrades, and maintain accurate inventory records.
QualificationsRequiredActive TS/SCI with a Polygraph
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 8 years relevant experience
Experience providing hands-on IT support in a desktop or service desk environment.
Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and basic network issues.
Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and common productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
Familiarity with user account management, permissions, and directory services (e.g., Active Directory).
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
Experience documenting technical issues, resolutions, and procedures.
Ability to manage multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and strong customer service skills.
DesiredWork EnvironmentBasic Compensation:
$159,300 to $194,600
This range is for the Virginia area only.
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
