- You will serve as a TS/SCI Network and Systems Administrator.
- You will adapt and implement systems diagnostic and maintenance tools to ensure the availability and functionality of systems required to support organizational objectives.
- You will oversee configuration and installation of network equipment and changing components of existing equipment for efficient operation.
- You will ensure that an inventory of all networked hardware and software is maintained.
- You will determine if established networks need improvement.
- You will provide guidance to other System Administrators and personnel involved in network and system management, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and system retirement.
- You will serve as a technical expert performing feasibility studies which involve application of emerging- computer technology to resolve unique user network and/or telecommunications requirements.

Installing and maintaining software and hardware, responsible for configuration management and tracking future releases of applications software.In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, I have qualifying experience such as:
-Experience measuring performance of IT systems using tools, methods and techniques and measuring systems in place and proposed upgrades/replacements of existing systems.-Experience evaluating and recommending selection of new system diagnostic tools.
-Experience advising management and operators with regard to capabilities, compatibility security, troubleshooting, testing of existing and new alternatives for the systems and networks.
-Experience developing and maintaining procedures for networks, system operations, and product assembly and installation.This position is within the Work Category PROFESSIONAL at Work Level FULL-PERFORMANCE, Series and Grade GG-2210-12.

Permanent and term employees currently serving in a probationary period in the competitive service or a probationary or trial period in the excepted service will complete the period as prescribed in their original conditions of employment in the new CES position if they transfer without a break in service or are promoted, demoted, or reassigned to a CES position.
