- You will maintain all execution year requirements for the Resource Management Division.
- You will perform budget formulation and budget execution of all programs as required.
- You will be responsible for a wide range of accounting and financial operations.
- You will utilize financial systems, including Command Financial Management System (CFMS), Program Budget Information System (PBIS), and Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI), to manage internal controls of Navy and Intelligence resources.
- You will serve as the financial technical authority and provide advice on the full range of accounting, budgeting, manpower, and financial management activities.
- You will control financial resources allocated to the organization, making recommendations for financial rebalancing as appropriate.
- You will utilize knowledge of accounting and financial management concepts, principles, practices, laws, and regulations.

- This is a Financial Management Level 2 Certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. Certification level must be achieved within 2 year of service date in the position.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GG/GS-11) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, such as:
- Experience analyzing, evaluating, and implementing fiscal decisions based on financial data, program factors, and financial management regulations, such as maintenance of annual spend plans and phasing plans.
- Experience with entry of a variety of financial transactions, knowledge of the process flow from entry to payment, identify and resolve suspense transactions( i.e. civilian pay, reimbursables, etc.)
- Knowledge of financial concepts, principles, policy, and methodologies in order to perform complex financial operations in a team setting, such as identification and resolution of problem disbursements.
- Ability to generate written summaries of financial data to inform customers and management regarding funding status, policy compliance in accordance with financial management regulations, and correct deficiencies as required.
