DutiesHelp
As an IT Specialist (Data Manager), you will:
- Develop, implement, and maintain data management policies, standards, and security procedures to comply with Federal mandates.
- Advise and support leadership in developing and executing the agency's AI strategy, policies, and compliance posture.
- Design and maintain large relational databases and data warehouses, optimizing performance and functionality.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and security throughout the data lifecycle. Protect data from unauthorized access while ensuring accuracy and reliability for authorized users.
- Analyze agency data and generate reports that provide actionable insights to support leadership decision-making.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications for GS-14 level:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is:- Experience with Federal data mandates, to include, but not limited to the Evidence Act and OMB Memorandum M-25-05.
- Experience supporting AI governance, evaluating AI technologies, and ensuring compliance with OMB Memoranda M-25-21 and M-25-22.
- Experience performing database administration for large relational databases and cloud databases including data migration.
Time-in grade-restrictions: Applicants who are current or former Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements (52 weeks at the next lower grade level).
