Requisition ID: 259021Locations: Charlotte The IT Solutions Engineer II is responsible for providing data expertise; collecting the information, including customer requirements needed to develop work scope around IT solutions, and analyzing highly complex business requirements, design, and writing technical specifications to design or redesign sophisticated computer platforms and applications. This position will also provide coding direction to IT Development Engineers and develop highly complex original concepts and solutions, verify program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, proof of concepts, testing, and debugging of programs. This position will also execute solution testing and the migration of platforms and applications into production, and develop new documentation, departmental technical procedures, and user guides.
Duties & Responsibilities - Translates technical specifications and business requirements into application code or configuration to build out enterprise system applications including validating quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for supported area
- Analyzes and provides coding direction and provides coding direction to IT Development Engineers and develop highly complex original concepts and solutions
- Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures, and user guides by developing training and documentation for teammates and end-user to increase efficiency, technical acumen, and product/system knowledge
- Participates in Scrum events including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, Backlog Grooming, and coaching team(s) to become self-organizing and self-managing
- Assures quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees the creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plans
- Provides ongoing support, maintenance activities, and other duties as determined by the team
- Configures, customizing, diagnosing, and enhancing vendor systems software, e.g., operating systems software and utilities that manage access to peripherals, facilitate networking, manage memory allocation, manage file storage on hard drives, etc.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities - DOMAIN Specific Experience is Mandatory
- 2-3 Years of Agile Delivery in a Matrixed Organizational Structure
- 1-3 Years of SDLC and CI/CD experience
- Tools, Frameworks and best practices
- 1-3 Years MS Azure Environment Development experience
- 1-2 Years MS Azure DevOps operational (pipeline) experience
- 1-2 Years experience in Domain-specific framework development
- 2-3 Years of Data integrations and exchange frameworks (jSON, XML, EDI)
- 2-3 Years of UAT/QA testing definition, execution, and documentation (tied explicitly to Ci/Cd)
- Strong Analytical and self problem-solving abilities
- Strong understanding of the DOMAIN specific Business functioning processes
- Strong documentation/technical writing skills
- Understands and enforces the design principles and best practices across the enterprise by leveraging COEs and Tech Partners where viable
Minimum Qualifications - High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge acquired through 3 to up to 5 years of work experience
Preferred Qualifications - Associate's degree or up to 3 years of college or technical school
