Solutions Architect will bridge the gap between complex business needs and enterprise-grade technology solutions. In this role, you will design scalable, secure, and future-proof application and integration architectures. You won't need to spend everyday day writing code; instead, you will serve as a strategic technical leader, guiding engineering teams, mitigating risks, and driving our cloud modernization and Zero Trust initiatives.

Key Responsibilities - Solution Architecture & Design
- Design End-to-End Solutions: Translate complex business requirements into high-level technical architectures, models, and robust integration patterns.
- Drive Modernization: Support legacy system reduction, cloud adoption, and continuous platform optimization.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify architectural risks, gaps, and trade-offs early, proposing proactive mitigation strategies.
- Technical Leadership & Alignment

- Guide Engineering Teams: Provide architectural direction to development teams and external partners, reviewing proposed designs and implementation approaches.
- Strategic Advising: Advise on enterprise IT strategy and guide technical teams on implementing enterprise-wide services and capabilities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with IT leadership, application development, security, infrastructure, and business units to ensure total alignment.
- Process Optimization
- Enhance Efficiency: Evaluate enterprise systems and deployment workflows to improve quality, delivery speed, and operational efficiency.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Participate in data-gathering sessions and lead product selection initiatives (including automation, orchestration, and Secure DevOps).
Required Skills and Experience - Experience & Education
- Professional Experience: 5+ years in technology leadership, IT consulting, or enterprise solution delivery.
- Note: A strong background in infrastructure engineering transitioning into architecture is highly preferred.
Technical Expertise
- Architectural Literacy: Ability to deeply engage with senior technical architects and engineering teams at a conceptual level without without getting bogged down in the source code.
- Technical Breadth: Ability to seamlessly navigate and connect modern application ecosystems, complex ERP systems, data platforms, and cloud environments across both Windows and Linux.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: A solid understanding of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and solutions deployment in cloud environment.
- Zero Trust Architecture: Proven experience architecting Zero Trust solutions, roadmaps, and capabilities aligned with industry standards (e.g., NIST 800 or DoD Zero Trust Strategy).
- Security & Access Control: Experience with identity and access management (IAM), conditional-based access, and attribute-based access control (ABAC).
Education: - Bachelor's degree in a related technical field, or an equivalent blend of education and professional experience
Other: - Must be able to obtain and maintain a Clearance at the level required for the government projects which requires U.S. Citizenship
