IT Service Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled IT Service Engineer to support and maintain our organization's IT infrastructure, security posture, and end-user services. As an IT Service Engineer, you will be the backbone of our technical operations, ensuring that our corporate offices and manufacturing facilities remain secure, connected, and efficient.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with enterprise networking, Windows server environments, endpoint management, and security frameworks while providing high-quality technical support to our internal teams.

This role will be responsible for maintaining reliable IT operations, assisting with security

and compliance initiatives (ISO/SOC controls), and supporting modern endpoint management solutions like Intune alongside the critical, "always-on"requirements of a production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • IT Infrastructure & Systems Administer and support Windows Server environments, including Active
  • Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot virtualized environments (VMware or Hyper-V).
  • Support enterprise storage, backups, and system monitoring.
  • Assist with server provisioning, patching, and lifecycle management.
  • Networking
  • Troubleshoot and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and VPN connectivity.
  • Assist with network monitoring, traffic analysis, and performance
  • optimization.
  • Support firewall rule management and network segmentation initiatives.
  • Endpoint Management (MDM)
  • Deploy and manage endpoints using Microsoft Intune / MDM solutions.
  • Configure device compliance policies, security baselines, and conditional
  • access.•
    Manage Windows device enrollment, patching, and application deployment.

  • Assist in maintaining compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar security

  • Support vulnerability remediation and security monitoring efforts.
  • Help enforce endpoint security policies, DLP controls, and access

  • Phishing and Training Compliance

IT Support & Service Delivery
  • Provide support for infrastructure and enterprise applications.
  • Troubleshoot issues across servers, networks, endpoints, and cloud services.
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including
  • provisioning and deprovisioning user accounts, system access, and hardware
  • assignments.
  • Configure new user environments including devices, applications, access
  • permissions, and security policies.
  • Ensure proper access removal, device recovery, and security
  • compliance during employee offboarding.
  • Document procedures, configurations, and system changes.
  • Work closely with engineering, security, HR, and operations teams to ensure smooth user lifecycle management.


Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in IT systems administration or service engineering
  • Strong experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune or other MDM platforms
  • Working knowledge of enterprise networking (switches, VLANs, firewalls,

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with endpoint security tools, EDR/XDR, or DLP solutions
  • Familiarity with automation (Bash Scripting) or (PowerShell Scripting)•
    Exposure to backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Experience with network security appliances or cloud security tools
  • Experience supporting manufacturing environments or operational
  • technology (OT) systems is a plus
