Full Job Description
Location: Beaverton, OR or Raleigh, NC

Ralliant is seeking a Microsoft 365 Tenant Administrator is responsible for the secure operation, governance, and lifecycle management of Microsoft 365 Commercial and GCC High (GCCH) tenants, with an expanded mandate to support and govern AI feature deployment, including Microsoft 365 Copilot and related AI services.
This role ensures that AI capabilities are enabled responsibly, aligned with regulatory requirements, data protection standards, and organizational risk tolerance. The administrator partners closely with Security, Legal, Compliance, and Architecture teams to control where, how, and for whom AI services are available, while maintaining operational excellence across identity, collaboration workloads, and compliance tooling.

Responsibilities
Tenant Administration & Core Operations (Commercial + GCCH)
• Administer Microsoft 365 tenants, ensuring secure and stable operations
• Monitor service health, coordinate incident response, and produce RCA documentation
• Maintain tenant configuration baselines and ensure alignment across Commercial and GCCH environments where feasible
• Identify opportunities to improve automation, policy enforcement, and visibility using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and M365 reporting tools
AI Deployment, Enablement & Control
• Support tenant-level deployment and configuration of Microsoft 365 AI capabilities
• Implement and manage AI governance controls including: Feature enablement/disablement, User and group-level access scoping, workspace and app-level permissions that impact AI data access
• Partner with Security, Privacy, and Legal teams to validate AI readiness of tenant configuration, ensure AI features comply with data handling, retention, and regulatory policies
• Track AI feature rollout status, limitations, and differences between Commercial and GCCH, and communicate impact to stakeholders
Identity, Access, and Security Controls
• Configure and maintain Conditional Access, MFA, authentication policies, and device-based access controls
• Enforce least privilege access using Entra ID RBAC, PIM)
• Manage admin role assignments and privileged workflows with auditability in mind
• Ensure data is governed appropriately to support responsible AI usage
• Support audit requests and compliance assessments related to both collaboration data and AI usage

Collaboration & App Governance
• Administer governance for Teams creation, external access, federation, and app permissions. SharePoint and OneDrive sharing, storage, and lifecycle controls
• Oversee third-party and first-party app governance, including, App approvals, blocked apps, and OAuth app consent
• Review and manage Teams apps, add-ins, and agents in alignment with AI governance standards

Skills & Experience
• 3-7 years' experience administering Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment
• Hands-on experience supporting Commercial and/or GCC High tenants (GCCH strongly preferred)
• Strong understanding of: Entra ID identity and access controls, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive administration, Microsoft Purview fundamentals
• Experience implementing or supporting Microsoft 365 Copilot or AI feature deployment at the tenant level

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 104300.00-193700.00
