Full Job Description
GENERAL PURPOSE:
The IT Senior Project Analyst is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and
managing Enterprise Technology Portfolio projects, with a focus on technology infrastructure.
Projects will typically involve multiple infrastructure layers which can include on-premises and
cloud-based server, database, storage, network, load balancer, and firewall. This role ensures
successful execution of project plans and adherence to Ross SDLC standards. This role
emphasizes strong project management capabilities, including planning, risk management,
stakeholder engagement, and quality assurance. Key responsibilities include project planning,
risk management, stakeholder engagement, change management, and quality assurance. The
analyst partners with stakeholders to structure solution options, mitigate risks, and drive
organizational change. They will leverage tools such as MS Office, OnePlan, and SharePoint to
maintain documentation, track progress, and deliver key reports. Additionally, this role involves
mentoring junior analysts and driving continuous improvement in project delivery.

The base salary range for this role is $96,000 - $157,650. The base salary range is dependent
on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education,
certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total
compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Executes processes and plans including the planning and coordination and/or execution
of project processes and/or activities
• Drafts project review reports and presentations, including key information, project
meeting outcomes, commentary, and recommendations to support the review process
and enable stakeholders to evaluate progress and agree on change
• Follows organizational delivery standards, obtains relevant stakeholder approvals on
required documents, helps meet delivery compliance.
• Executes delegated activities to support the production of workstream and project plans
that follow the organization's project management framework
• Organizes and prepares complex documents using a variety of applications including
MSOffice 365
• Gathers and summarizes data for special reports
• Maintains documentation and traceability throughout project. Documents project /
process requirements using appropriate tool
• Supports testing through documentation of test scripts and verification criteria
• Contributes to system testing activities (supports development and execution of test
scripts
• Collaborates with IT Contracts and vendor on contracts management, to review
statement of work, address callouts from Legal and obtaining signatures in a timely
manner
• Supports project stakeholder engagement by arranging meetings, events, and
other stakeholder communication and activities
• Contributes to the management of risks and issues by maintaining and distributing
project and program risk registers and issues logs.
• Organizes project post-mortem lessons learned and documenting findings
• Contributes to post-project documentation creation, reviews and identification of lessons
learned
• Drafts elements of product documentation and user training to support handover to
business as usual
• Contributes to reviewing existing operations in own area of work and generate new
ideas to assist in identifying continuous improvements
• Develops own capabilities and understanding of project management tools,
methodology and relevant technology
• Develops own capabilities engaging in development planning activities as well as
formal and informal training and coaching
• Develops and stays current on relevant tools and best practices in project management
• Supports the onboarding and development of IT Project Analyst(s) through training and
coaching as needed

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Business, Information Systems or Computer
Science or related experience required
• 4 years of experience supporting project execution in a medium to large company, with a
focus on technology infrastructure.
• Working understanding of IT infrastructure building blocks including: operating system,
database, storage, backup, monitoring, network, load balancer, firewall. Knowledge
should include both on-premises as well as cloud-based solutions.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills; effective listener
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with individuals at
different organizational levels
• Proven organization skills: ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks in an
environment with competing demands
• Strong MS Office skills - Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft One Drive and
Visio. Adept at learning technologies, tools and processes.
• Knowledge of PMO tools such as OnePlan, Primavera, Planview
• Experience with Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid project delivery methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
• In process or completed Project Management Certification such as PBA, CSM
• Working experience in the retail industry or similar fast-paced environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:
Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.
Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person
meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.
Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction,
meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. However, this
role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work.
Ability to travel up to 5% of the time #LI-Hybrid
