Role and Responsibilities Our Federal Government client requires a IT Security Design Specialist (Level 3/10 years experience) to support maintain and update the current technical C6 enviornment. Responsible to support, maintain and upgrade the client side of their secret network to ensure the service meets the established standard of quality including reliability, usability and performance for secret end user devices and certified peripherals.
Deliverables - Draft and final copies of technical documentation such as Consolidated Support Manual (CSM)reports for distribution to system owners and for input into Certification and accreditation (C&A) process.
- Create/maintain draft and final copies technical documentation such as Concepts of Operations, architectural descriptions, detail design, installation & support procedures, scripts and release notes.
- Contribute input to resource, cost and effort estimates and plans.
- Maintaining an effective and constructive partnership with all stakeholders to achieve organizational goals and development.
- Knoweldge transfer to identified GAC employees.
Qualifications and Experience - At least 10 years experience as an IT Security Design Speciliast in accordance with the TBIPS supply arrangment.
- Must have at least 3 years experience designing, engineering implementing and supporting secure solutions using CITRIX VDI technology.
- Must have at least 5 years designing and/or implementing Classified (Secret level or higher) network solutions, for Canadian Government for a minimum of 10,000 users.
- Valid CISSP & CISA Certifications.
