Full Job Description
We are looking to recruit a Technology Program Manager to ensure delivery of the target Risk Cloud based platform Book of Work. You will closely collaborate with developers and business analysts to support them with changes, updates, strategic planning, and reporting. You will also cover Projects related to Price calculations and control front to back.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a complex and challenging risk technology set of projects delivering Citi's target state capabilities. These impact Markets Front Office Technology teams, trading businesses, market risk managers and financial controllers driving the buildout of Citi's franchise-critical strategic cross-business platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as lead program manager for delivery of key business and regulatory projects under Citi's cross-asset risk technology strategy.
  • Formally managing the subcomponent projects of larger risk initiatives to completion.
  • Managing new cross-asset risk projects from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with product owners and scrum masters of agile teams to create and maintain detail project plans with high level views on milestones.
  • Coordinate on dependencies and facilitate discussion across asset class technology teams and quant teams to resolve outstanding risk and issues.
  • Producing presentations and reports for senior management and regulators alike on progress on key programs.
  • Work closely with program level directors and managers to provide status and feedback on projects.
  • Attending workshops, working groups and other relevant meetings with senior representatives from Risk, Finance, Ops & Technology, Front Office, Internal Audit, and other groups.
  • Working closely with the technology leaders of the cross-asset risk team and the business-aligned risk team leads / PMs to define, agree, track and report on commitments and deliveries by MSST for our Tech partners.
  • E2E Accountability on delivery from initiation to post deployment for relevant projects.


Responsibilities:
  • Develops detailed IT work plans, schedules; project estimates, resource plans and status reports.
  • Interfaces with senior project staff and client senior management teams regarding status of projects.
  • Recommends and oversees process improvements.
  • Has considerable business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes and industry standards.
  • Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of IT project leadership.
  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how own area and others (i.e., architecture or infrastructure) collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives.
  • Directly impacts the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services.
  • Acts as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts; allocates work.
  • Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Persuades and influences others through and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:
  • 6-10 years experience in a related technology role and subject matter expert in overall field
  • Must have experience working within Markets Technology function working on Derivative valuations and calculations, and understand the Derivative products in an investment bank
  • Must understand Derivative pricing, models and market data inputs and drivers that impact processing optimization
  • Distil complex information and present in concise terms to enable senior decision making and direction.
  • Ideally experience of working as a Scrum Master approach and responsible for setting up Jira
  • Can demonstrate that drives or challenges stakeholders to deliver on execution, and not merely track progress

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
