Full Job Description
The Candidate will lead multiple IT initiatives from project planning through implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. The Candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership while proactively managing risks, communications, and project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications of the IT Project Manager - SDLC:
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading IT projects or serving in a project leadership capacity.
  • Proven experience managing projects through all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Strong ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting project updates to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing project scope, schedules, risks, and resource allocation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and enterprise project management tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant IT experience.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry is a plus.

Preferred Skills/Experience of the IT Project Manager - SDLC:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience supporting healthcare, health insurance, or other highly regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with project governance, compliance, and documentation standards.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with business partners, technical teams, and vendors.
  • Self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities of the IT Project Manager - SDLC:
  • Lead multiple IT projects through planning, execution, implementation, and project closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, timelines, status reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and leadership to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and resource needs while implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate project meetings and communicate project status, milestones, and challenges to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ensure project documentation complies with established governance, quality, and compliance standards.

Work Location: Hybrid position based in Columbia, SC. Three days onsite (Tuesday-Thursday) and two days remote (Monday and Friday).
