Job DescriptionThis Individual Position is Exempt from the Hiring Freeze. Qualified Applicants are Encouraged To Apply.What you will be doing:As the IT Project Manager, you'll play an important role in supporting the Department of Health's Portfolio Management Office by helping keep technology projects organized, on schedule, and clearly communicated. In this role, you'll work closely with project managers, contractors, and IT staff to gather information, coordinate meetings, and ensure project details stay current. You'll also help new project requests get properly defined and move smoothly through the department's governance process.
In addition to supporting the broader portfolio, you will lead assigned IT projects using standard project management practices, making sure progress, risks, and updates are communicated clearly and regularly. This is a collaborative position that helps strengthen consistent project management across the department and contributes to successful technology outcomes.
