We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee complex projects that require strong coordination, strategic planning, and effective stakeholder communication. This role involves managing the full project lifecycle-from initiation through completion-while ensuring delivery within schedule, scope, and budget parameters. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record managing both technical and business teams in fast-paced environments. The PM will be responsible for managing the overall E1 upgrade project, coordinating timelines, resources, communication, risks, and deliverables across technical and business teams.
Key Responsibilities - Project Management: Lead end-to-end delivery of projects, managing major milestones, scope, schedule, and resources across all phases-initiating, planning, executing, and closing. Develop detailed project plans, estimates, and timelines, re-forecast as needed, and communicate progress to senior leadership. Maintain a strategic overview of project objectives, dependencies, and critical paths, and define success criteria and expectations for all stakeholders.
- Change and Risk Management: Proactively identify scope changes or potential crises, develop contingency plans, and manage project risks through structured enterprise problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, DMAIC). Monitor project scope, costs, and schedule, and adjust plans accordingly to mitigate impacts.
- Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Build and maintain productive relationships with vendors, third-party partners, and internal stakeholders. Effectively communicate project updates, technical issues, and procurement strategies at all organizational levels, acting as a primary point of contact for subject matter expertise.
- People Leadership: Coach, mentor, and supervise project team members and contractors, fostering a collaborative environment. Ensure adherence to corporate and project management standards, set performance targets, and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.
- Contract and Sourcing Oversight: Oversee contractual obligations and supplier performance, using KPIs to evaluate and challenge performance. Manage procurement activities, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Research suppliers and markets to recommend sourcing strategies and address under-performance issues.
- Reporting & Documentation: Develop and deliver comprehensive progress reports, proposals, and presentation materials. Document project requirements, scope, goals, and success criteria, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Science or Arts.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience leading and managing IT projects, including applications involving cloud, systems, or infrastructure upgrades.
- Extensive experience with SDLC, PMLC, Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
- Proven track record managing medium to large complex projects.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Project, Excel, Word, Visio) and collaboration tools such as SharePoint or project management systems.
- Strong skills in stakeholder influence, collaboration, and communication.
- Ability to work independently and in team-oriented environments.
- Reside within commuting distance to PA or able to work remotely within the relevant time zone.
- Capable of adapting to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: persuasive, motivating, and customer-focused.
- Strong written and oral communication abilities.
- Ability to analyze project issues, learn new technologies rapidly, and prioritize tasks effectively in high-pressure situations.
Preferred Qualifications - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in good standing.
- Agile Practice Certification (e.g., CSM or equivalent in good standing).
