Duties:

Project Managers specialized/experienced in the area of IT Process/Service Management Implementation/Optimization
Project Focus
• Plan and organize projects, establish project governance models and staffing profiles. Develop Key Performance and Success Measures (KPIs).
• Build sustained partnership with business to ensure 100% alignment of technology solutions with business needs.
• Support business in their change management efforts to improve business processes.
• Directly manage projects from start-up to completion. Ensure flawless execution on time, on budget, on quality and above customer expectations.
• Identify stakeholders and effectively drive change into the organization. Ensure all Stakeholders are on board.
• Maintain exact control over the projects/programs status.
• Manage all aspects of project/program expenditure and budget including CARs, Purchase Orders, financial status reporting etc.
• Lead and prepare - whenever needed - management presentation to Investment Boards, Program Steering Committees, NITB and equivalent.
• Customer-centric approach in delivering projects in full partnership with service lines
• Understand (project related) Critical Success Factors for key Domain customers - align activities to ensure successful achievement of these.
• Understand current and future direction of GIS and ensure all project needs are addressed appropriately.
• Deep understanding of business value achieved for all domain projects (customer centricity).
Risk Management, Reporting and Communications Focus
• Identify, manage and remediate project/program risks and issues.
• Ensure appropriate involvement of project / program Steering Committees including status reporting and resolution of escalated issues.
• Manage escalations with various internal support groups (e.g. service lines) and external service providers (e.g., BT, Client).
• Report project / program status through defined PMO/GIS channels.
Compliance/Quality Focus
• Ensure compliance to the Client ICE Project Methodology, GxP and other GIS / Client processes and procedures (where applicable).
Skills:
Key Performance Indicators / Measures Of Success
• Projects successfully delivered on time, on budget, on quality, on value consistent with Client standards/regulations and fully aligned with GIS strategy.
• Adhere to defined management and delivery processes for IT projects and other Policies relevant to the project scope.
• Actively engage in collection and performing of lessons learned to improve knowledge and processes in Gemini.
• Satisfaction of key customers of Gemini (e.g., service lines) AND divisional stakeholders in Business IT.
Role Requirements
• At least 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management with a proven track record of leading IT Process/Service Management Implementation/Optimization projects.
• Key areas of experience include IT Processes/Services, Data Center, Virtualization and /or hosting technologies and trends.
• Demonstrable leadership skills within a global matrix organization
• Strong outcome-driven mindset
• Excellent communication and change management skills
• Ability to lead global, multicultural, multifunctional teams
• Excellent budget management and negotiation skills
Preferred
• Formal Project Management accreditation preferred (PRINCE 2 or PMP)

Manage staff for optimum performance. Manages one or more high-level, complex non-technical projects within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost, to deliver specified requirements. Projects may be strategic in nature. Responsibilities may include resource allocation and all phases of development life cycle (i.e. feasibility study, requirements, analysis, ROI, business plan, design, testing, and implementation planning). Regularly interacts with management. Coordinates and directs the activities of project team members. May be responsible for cross-functional teams. Ensures all project requirements and/or objectives are documented. May obtain and manage external resources required for project completion.; Skills: ; expertise in running medium to large scale projects; excellent understanding of project management processes and procedures; experience with project management and analyst methodologies and best practices; strong analytical skills; business process development best practices, change management; strong MS Project, MS Word, Visio, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel skills; understanding of systems for sharing and collaboration; excellent communication skills to work with cross-program resources.
