Summary:
Under general direction, responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Defines project scope and objectives in conjunction with project team. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and dashboards. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Cultivates a customer focused methodology while collaborating closely with other IT management, staff and customers to provide for optimum functions of all applications. Provides input and assists with the IT division capital budget and strategic planning. A major part of this position is to provide a proactive interface between the internal customers and the technical staff to ensure effective definition of and delivery of business applications. To do so, strong business analyst, application design, and project management skills are essential.

Responsibilities:
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Serves as expert resource in project management & implementation.
- Serves as expert resource for project management to liaisons in various departments.
- Chairs project status update meetings.
- Responsible for developing the project plan, including planning, management, budgeting, forecasting and implementing all necessary activities to manage the successful completion of PMO related projects.
- Build business relationships with key stakeholders and customers that are vital to the success of the project.
- Effectively communicate project expectations, updates, and potential risks to team members, leadership, and stakeholders while providing appropriate resolution and recommendations.
- Mentors and provides expertise to project team to ensure that progress is within expected guidelines and is completed on time and within budget.
- Organizes and conducts project team meetings.
9. Defines and develops IT project/program management best practices, processes, and policy to ensure alignment with corporate strategy and goals.
10. Responsible for day-to-day operations of the project management office.
11. Collaborates with IT Managers and Directors in coordinating and planning the application, network and telecommunication needs of projects.
12. Ensure timely and accurate sizing of projects to include development of goals and objectives, identification of resource requirements and timing.
13. Develop, implement, and manage the program/project management methodology
14. Analyzes best-in-class processes, establishes customer satisfaction metrics, and understands the interaction and relationship of the healthcare operations and technology.
15. Champions the application of quality principles in business and IT processes through training, meetings, team facilitation, communication programs, and team building activities.
16. Develop clear and concise documentation, instruction manuals, and audit trails of program changes and testing processes in accordance with the departmental and programming standards.

Hours will be dependent on patient census and workload. Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, to include after-hours and weekends as necessary.

EDUCATION:Bachelor's Degree required.
EDUCATION FIELD OF STUDY (If Applicable):Information Technology, Business, Math, or a related field preferred.
Previous Experience Requirements:EXPERIENCE:Previous healthcare experience preferred.
Two years of previous experience in field preferred.
Combination of five years of education and experience in position field preferred.
Skills/Knowledge Requirements:SKILLS (If Applicable):Language Skills - Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required.
Experience in managing multiple projects required.
Experience in data analysis, reporting and planning preferred.
Exhibit high level/amount of interaction with departmental Stakeholders required.
Possess outstanding presentation and communication skills with audiences of all levels required.
Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks required.
KNOWLEDGE (If Applicable):Knowledge of Project Management disciplines preferred.
Solutions oriented and demonstrates flexibility, using collaborative techniques to identify project problems and implement solutions required.
Experience with Project Management software preferred.
Project Management Professional Certification preferred.
Other Certifications/Requirements:Current, valid driver's license issued in the state of legal Residence required.
