Position Summary:

The IT Operations Manager delivers secure, reliable infrastructure and customer-focused support for 500+ employees across HQ, U.S. sites, and overseas offices. The role requires strong Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 administration across email, collaboration, identity, access, and productivity tools, while leading daily IT operations, vendor and asset management, and process improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Objectives

  • Maintain core IT infrastructure: security tools, applications, network, servers, email, identity management and directory services, endpoint management, software, and laptops.
  • Lead help desk, onboarding, offboarding, and user support.
  • Network/security: Microsoft AD, SharePoint, OpenVPN, AWS, Cisco Meraki, Windows/Linux servers, VM/VPC, Proofpoint, Webroot, MDM (Intune, JumpCloud), and Huntress.
  • Communications: Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Talkdesk.
  • Help desk: Zoho Desk or similar
  • Cloud: GCP, AWS
  • Analyze needs, processes, and tools to reduce risk and improve productivity, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Prepare cost-benefit analyses, manage vendors, train employees, troubleshoot issues, and provide support.
  • Oversee disaster recovery planning, maintain data backups, fault tolerance, and redundancy in systems
  • Own roadmap, budget forecasts, actuals, and spend allocations.
  • Hire, manage, and develop IT talent; oversee program expenses and administration.


Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT, computer science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of IT experience, including 2+ years in IT management.


Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

  • Google Workspace administration: Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Groups, provisioning, access controls, and security settings.
  • Microsoft 365 administration: Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, licensing, identity management, and endpoint integration.
  • Strong people-leadership skills, communication, and interpersonal skills, effective program coordination skills, and ability to multi-task
  • Willingness to be on-call during weekends and evenings when necessary


Pay Range:

$125,000 - $135,000 annually, based on experience.
