The IT Manager is responsible for leading the delivery, support, and continuous improvement of technology services across our Canadian operations. This role oversees day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure, security, vendor management, and user support while serving as the primary technology partner to business stakeholders. The successful candidate must be based and work out of one of the following offices: Vancouver, BC or Toronto, ON, with periodic travel required to support operations, projects, and business initiatives

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of IT services across all Canadian operations, ensuring reliable, responsive and customer-focused support.
  • Manage Canadian-based IT team members, contractors, and service providers while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee end-user technology, including hardware, software, mobile services, user provisioning, licensing, and access management.
  • Ensure effective operation of technology infrastructure by coordinating support for networks, servers, telecommunications, cloud services, and related technologies.
  • Act as the primary technology partner for Canadian business leaders, translating operational requirements into practical technology solutions.
  • Lead the planning and execution of technology projects, implementations, upgrades and business-driven initiatives.
  • Support cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management programs by ensuring adherence to governance policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Monitor technology budgets, assets, and costs while identifying opportunities for efficiency and service improvement.
  • Collaborate with corporate infrastructure, security, software, automation, and data teams to support innovation, standardization, and business growth across Canadian operations.
  • Perform other duties as required to meet organizational requirements.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in IT operations, infrastructure, service delivery, and team leadership.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, endpoint management, identity and access management, and cloud technologies.
  • Experience leading multi-site or geographically distributed support teams in a service-oriented environment.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, compliance requirements, and IT governance.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; relevant industry certifications (ITIL, Microsoft, CISSP, PMP, etc.) considered an asset.
