Our mission is to provide exceptional hospice care with integrity, dignity, and respect. We are growing and seeking a skilled IT Manager to support and enhance our technological infrastructure.
Position Summary:The IT Manager will oversee and manage all technology operations within Moments Hospice, ensuring that systems, services, and infrastructure function reliably and securely. This includes managing hardware, software, networks, and support services across the organization, while working closely with management to align IT strategies with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day IT operations, including troubleshooting and support for end users across all locations
- Administer and maintain the organization's network, servers, workstations, VoIP phones, and other IT infrastructure
- Oversee implementation and maintenance of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Manage vendor relationships for IT services, equipment, software licenses, and telecom services
- Ensure cybersecurity protocols are implemented and regularly updated to protect sensitive data
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes by managing user accounts, access controls, and device setups
- Develop IT policies, procedures, and best practices
- Maintain documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures
- Plan and execute IT projects, upgrades, and rollouts
- Provide timely technical support to staff both in-person and remotely
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT management or system administration, preferably in healthcare or hospice settings
- Strong knowledge of network management, Windows environments, cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace), and cybersecurity practices
- Experience with healthcare compliance standards, including HIPAA
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:- Office-based role in Lakewood, NJ with occasional travel to other Moments Hospice locations as needed
- Ability to lift and move IT equipment (up to 25 lbs.)
- Some after-hours or on-call support may be required during system outages or rollouts
