Full Job Description
GENERAL PURPOSE:

The IT Manager I is responsible for ensuring the successful completion of complex Merchandising projects and issues where he or she will determine methods and procedures to solve business problems. As a Product Manager on merchandising projects, translate business needs into system requirements and drive delivery with ownership of the overall IT solution. Lead a team of business analysts and Product Management Analysts as they work with business stakeholders and technical resources to groom and prioritize requirements backlogs and ensure alignment to key business objectives and milestones. They will coordinate with other resources both internal and external, and provide insight and leadership as required to deliver to commitments. Areas of focus include business analysis, Test planning & execution, User story development, user support, Test Case development, information management, relationship management, development lifecycle, technical operations, documenting requirements, vetting estimates, and project management activities.

The base salary range for this role is $114,300 - $195,000. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONs:
• Lead a team of business analysts, application analysts, Visual Designers, and UX Designers to support large IT initiatives
• Lead a team of testers to develop & execute Test Strategy, Test Cases, & Test Scrips
• Act as Product Manager or Lead Business Analyst for merchandising IT projects including large initiatives; manage portfolio product backlogs, resource, scope and timeline commitments
• Work with business partners to assess value and develop business cases associated with new capability requests and then prioritize against existing demand for delivery on key projects
• Act as liaison for all IT related issues for the Merchandising department and other related businesses
• Work with Business and IT Support teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Manage Merchandising business facing projects and day to day production issues.
• Manage technical and business IT resources and provide guidance and direction for career growth.
• Leverage personal knowledge, experience and skills; throughout project lifecycle, to guide teams in estimation, design, delivery and production support activities.
• Develop materials and deliver / present to senior leadership
• Provide inputs to portfolio leadership to develop strategic IT plan and organization plan to deliver. Coach and develop resources as necessary.
• Partner with the business and Merchandising portfolio leadership to manage business demand
• Partner with other IT departments on delivery of support and projects.

• Develop action plans, schedules, budgets, status reports and other management communications intended to improve the status of relevant releases.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Undergraduate degree in information systems, business administration, or a related technical discipline preferred
• 5+ years of managing and delivering projects.
• Demonstrated experience partnering with business teams to translate pain points or opportunities into capability needs with targeted, measurable outcomes, preferably in a Product Manager, Product Management Analyst, or similar
role
• Demonstrated experience in the development and prioritization of business requirements, coordination of business testing, and partnering with delivery teams for business programs/projects
• Demonstrated experience in delivering custom development projects using an iterative, incremental delivery methodology such as Agile processes
• Ability to work with teams that are geographically distributed and work across different time zones
• Broad systems knowledge of major retail applications, with demonstrated depth with core merchandising systems
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization
• Ability to work with teams that are geographically distributed and work across different time zones

• Prior support experience, preferably in Merchandising domain
