IT Infrastructure Specialist
Musselwhite Mine
Responsibilities include:
• Maintains and supports enterprise infrastructure including servers, storage platforms, network systems and
communication services.
• Manages and supports virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Azure) including capacity planning, provisioning
and lifecycle management.
• Administers and supports surface and underground network environments to ensure reliable, secure and
resilient site connectivity.
• Oversees infrastructure operations including monitoring, performance analysis and implementation of
improvements to optimize availability and efficiency.
• Plans and executes infrastructure upgrades, hardware replacements and modernization initiatives.
• Supports and maintains communication systems including Microsoft Teams, voice gateways and Cisco CUBE.
• Leads incident response, performs root cause analysis and resolves complex infrastructure and network
issues.
• Maintains security controls and ensures alignment with corporate policies, supporting audits, compliance
reviews and risk mitigation activities.
• Manages backup and recovery systems, validating data integrity and ensuring recoverability.
• Develops, tests and maintains disaster recovery strategies for critical systems.
• Provides advanced troubleshooting across infrastructure, network and system layers.
• Collaborates with site teams (OT, Electrical, Mining Apps, EUS) to deliver infrastructure projects and
operational improvements.
• Maintains accurate infrastructure documentation and system configurations to support operational continuity.
• Adheres to Occupational Health and Safety policies while consistently promoting safe work practices.

Skills & Experience:
• Post-secondary education in Computer Technology (certificate, diploma or degree) or equivalent combination
of education and relevant experience.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in network and server administration within mid to large enterprise
environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead or contribute to infrastructure projects, including planning, execution and delivery
within defined timelines.
• Experience supporting enterprise networks, server environments (primarily Microsoft platforms) and
associated hardware lifecycle activities.
• Familiarity with infrastructure security practices, compliance frameworks and risk management principles.
• Experience working within regulated or industrial environments (e.g., mining, OT, or remote site operations).
• Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks
effectively.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams
and provide a high level of client service.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrates initiative, accountability and a results-oriented mindset, with the ability to adapt and perform in
a diverse and dynamic work environment.
Working Conditions:
The work schedule for this position is 14 on,14 days off including travel to site, working 12-hour days. The Position
may require traveling to and/or assisting other domestic sites.
Compensation:
• The salary for this position is $110,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.
• This role is eligible to participate in the Company's annual short term incentive program. The target annual bonus for this position is 15% of base salary, subject to individual and company performance.
• The Company offers a Defined Contribution Pension Plan (DCPP), including an automatic 5% employer contribution, with theoption for employees to receive up to an additional 4% employer match on employee contributions.
