We're seeking for a hands-on
IT Infrastructure Engineer to help keep our IT environment secure, stable, and running smoothly. In this role, you'll support and maintain our Microsoft 365 and on-premises infrastructure, administer identity and endpoint security platforms, manage virtualization and backup systems, and partner with the broader IT team to deliver reliable service to end users across the business. We value someone who takes full responsibility for outcomes, follows through on issues from start to finish, and can independently prioritize and manage their work in a fast-moving environment. You will:- Administer and maintain Active Directory (users, groups, GPOs, OUs, DNS, replication), including health checks, schema/structure cleanups, and migrations as needed.
- Manage identity and access in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including conditional access, MFA enforcement, role assignments, and hybrid identity sync, and zero trust access models.
- Administer Microsoft Windows Server and Client operating systems, including patching, hardening, GPO development, PowerShell scripting, and lifecycle management.
- Build, configure, monitor, and maintain VMware vSphere/ESXi environments including host setup, cluster health, VM provisioning, snapshots, resource optimization, and capacity planning.
- Manage backup and recovery operations across on-prem, virtual, and cloud workloads, including lifecycle management and recovery validation.
- Apply security best practices and hardening guides across systems and services.
- Work within the support ticketing system to respond to end-user requests, manage queues, and meet SLAs.
- Serve as an escalation point for service desk technicians, providing mentorship and knowledge transfer.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to systems, security posture, and operational efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of the IT department and business objectives.

You have: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Core Technical experience with Active Directory, MS Operating Systems, VMware, and backup systems (cloud, Windows, Linux, and virtual workloads).
- Experience working within a support ticketing system - responding to end-user requests and supporting the team with escalations.
- Email security platforms such as Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Proofpoint, or similar.
- Familiarity with security best practices and hardening guidelines.
- A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork.
You may have: - Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash) for automation and reporting.
- Familiarity with vulnerability management tools and patch management processes.
- Endpoint security platforms such as EDR/XDR solutions.
