Position: IT Infrastructure Administrator (Bilingual)
Employment Type: Full Time Permanent
Vacancy Status: Existing Vacancy
Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid)

The Role

As an IT Infrastructure Administrator (Bilingual), you'll develop, test, and support core infrastructure systems, ensuring stability, performance, and rapid resolution of production issues.

This is a hybrid role, working a minimum of 2-3 days per week in our Montreal office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery
  • Lead infrastructure initiatives from setup and configuration through deployment and ongoing support
  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation on projects and share knowledge across internal teams
  • Manage infrastructure-related incidents, service requests, changes, problems, and assets
  • Maintain and troubleshoot server and network infrastructure to ensure performance, reliability, and security
  • Oversee backup and data restoration processes to ensure system availability
  • Maintain and continuously update infrastructure documentation and procedures
  • Coordinate with vendors for infrastructure setup, troubleshooting, and escalations
  • Resolve escalated Tier 2 issues from the Tier 1 support team
  • On-call rotation for Tier 2 support every 4-5 weeks is mandatory

Skills & Experiences
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, with 5+ years of experience as an IT Administrator
  • Strong expertise in Windows Server & Desktop OS, Active Directory, MS Exchange, Cisco & Fortinet IOS, LAN/WAN/VLANs, Wi-Fi, MS Azure, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Certificates, VPN, Voice/telephony, and O365/M365
  • Working knowledge of IT Security, alert/event monitoring, and MacOS, with familiarity in AWS Cloud and Linux an asset
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues accurately and efficiently
  • Works independently with excellent time management skills, balancing multiple priorities and projects
  • Collaborative team player with strong written and verbal communication, capable of working effectively with internal teams, partners, vendors and consultants
  • Demonstrated excellence in managing project and handling support tickets
  • Skilled in creating and maintaining clear technical documentation, with the ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions
  • Experienced in mentoring and guiding other team members for knowledge transfer
  • Flexibility and willingness to work on-call rotation for 1 week every 4-5 weeks
  • Must be fully bilingual in English and French
