IT Network Manager, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting a secure, scalable network infrastructure that enables Johnson Electric's manufacturing operations. You will serve as a technical leader on-site, collaborating closely with global IT teams to ensure performance, reliability, and cybersecurity compliance across enterprise and plant-floor systems.
What You'll Be Doing- Designing and implementing scalable LAN, WAN, and GAN network architectures.
- Leading and mentoring a team of Network Administrators.
- Managing core and edge switching, OT networks, and Wi-Fi access points.
- Implementing and supporting Layer 2 and Layer 3 network protocols.
- Designing and maintaining plant-floor OT network segmentation, including tools such as Xona.
- Implementing enterprise cybersecurity solutions (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Zscaler, Microsoft Defender).
- Collaborating with global network teams to deploy and enforce infrastructure standards.
- Monitoring performance using tools such as Zabbix and proactively resolving risks.
- Supporting cybersecurity events and incident remediation.
- Ensuring compliance with TISAX, CMMC, and other security audit requirements.
- Leading or contributing to IT projects including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
- Maintaining detailed network documentation and operational procedures.
- Coordinating with external vendors and service providers.
What We're Looking For- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, networking, or architecture.
- 3+ years of experience supporting OT networks in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, SD-WAN, IP addressing, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Cisco certifications (CCNA / CCNP / CCIE); CISSP strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and project leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, on-site manufacturing setting.
