Description

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT
  • Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with an active polygraph. Both the clearance and polygraph need to be fully adjudicated. Interim clearances will not be accepted.
  • U.S. Citizenship required in order to comply with government contract.

The ideal candidate will direct IT personnel and teams to ensure computer systems and networks continually remain secure and reliable. The IT Deputy Program Manager will ultimately be responsible for managing the stability and security of all wide area networks (WANs), local area networks (LANs) and organization-specific networks. They will also install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems across a variety of organizations and networks. They will frequently communicate and collaborate with other developers and implement system enhancements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Management and oversite of onsite technical support team and engineering staff.
  • Oversee design, installation, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance of system and network activities to ensure continuous, efficient, and secure operation.
  • Support and troubleshoot hardware and software issues and transitions.
  • Implement and coordinate all security and network policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Maintain the security and integrity of file servers, firewalls, network access, security systems, routers, and customer operations.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of computer hardware and software upgrades and network software in order to meet contract requirements.
  • Train and mentor technical support team and engineering staff.


Position Requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field of study.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience administering technologies in two or more of the following areas of operation: Network Services, Client/Server Services, Software Development/Management and Security Services.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of technical leadership experience on projects.
  • An active technical certification compliant with DoD 8140.
    • CompTIA Security+ Certification
  • Knowledge of the principles, methods and techniques used in systems administration and network administration.
  • Knowledge of cloud integration and development.
  • Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Windows and Linux environments.
  • LAN and WAN experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • The following certifications and experiences are preferred:
    • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
    • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Certification (CCIE)
    • Microsoft Administrator Expert (MS-102)
