Job Description:

Brooks Instrument (www.brooksinstrument.com), an industry leader in flow and pressure instrumentation for critical applications, is seeking candidates for a IT Business Systems Managerposition that will be based at the company headquarters in Hatfield, Pennsylvania (suburban Philadelphia). The company has manufacturing locations in Pennsylvania, Hungary, Malaysia and Korea, and also maintains sales and service offices throughout the world. Our high-tech products are used in laboratory and process applications in end markets such as: oil & gas, petrochemical, medical devices, waste water, life sciences, and analytical instruments.

Role Overview:
  • Manage the company's ERP and Business Applications portfolio; coordinate internal staff and 3rd party resources
  • Lead and develop a team responsible for supporting and administering the company's core business applications
  • Provide decision making, project management and continuous improvement skillsets to support critical business applications for a global work environment
  • Work cross-functionally to deliver ERP and business application solutions in a manufacturing and sales environment


Core Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary leader of the company's Infor XA ERP system, including configuration, upgrades, patching, and performance across all modules
  • Manage and support the company's broader Business Applications environment, including Infor CPQ, TeamCenter, Salesforce, and internally developed applications
  • Hire, lead, mentor, and develop a team across ERP and business applications support, setting priorities and managing performance
  • Lead business application support functions and coordinate on a global basis
  • Evaluate ERP and business application vendor/support agreements, manage related software procurement and licensing within company's internal control framework
  • Ensure company maintains compliance with requirements of software licensing agreements
  • Provide project management oversight for ERP upgrades, module rollouts, and business application initiatives
  • Support functional stakeholders to define business and systems requirements and define ERP/business application solutions which optimize performance
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and master data governance across Infor XA and integrated business applications
  • Manage annual IT Solutions budget preparation, strategic planning as well as ad hoc, tactical evaluations


Education and Experience
  • Strong project management, communication and interpersonal skills
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or an A.S. degree with equivalent additional experience, with a minimum of 5 years of ERP/business applications experience including 2-5 years in a people management role, preferred.
  • Working knowledge or proficiency with:
    • ERP: Preferred Infor XA (IBM i/AS400 environment) or equivalent, including core modules such as order management, inventory, manufacturing, and financials
    • Business Applications: Infor CPQ, Siemens TeamCenter, Salesforce, and internally developed applications
    • Databases: DB2 for i, MS SQL
    • Programming/Scripting: C#, SQL, integration/middleware tools and RPG/RPGLE a plus
    • Productivity/Collaboration: Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint
