Information TechnologyBusiness Analyst to join an enterprise technology delivery team supporting equity trading and financial markets applications.
The primary responsibility of this role is to elicit, analyze, document, and communicate detailed business and operational requirements to support technology change. The successful candidate will work with stakeholders across multiple business and technology functions to ensure solutions align with business objectives, delivery priorities, and technology strategy.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong knowledge of financial markets, trading workflows, Agile delivery, and the full software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities - Work closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Developers, and other stakeholders to design and deliver quality software solutions aligned with business and technology objectives.
- Take ownership and accountability for the analysis and delivery of key features, driving initiatives through to completion.
- Analyze stakeholder objectives and challenge problem statements to develop clear, comprehensive requirements documentation that supports effective scope definition and prioritization.
- Leverage AI-assisted tools to enhance business analysis, documentation, stakeholder communication, and delivery efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to improve BA processes through AI and automation and share effective practices across the team.
- Support project governance by helping define scope, clarify requirements, and guide estimation of work using relevant business and domain knowledge.
- Communicate project progress effectively and ensure impediments, risks, assumptions, and dependencies are identified, tracked, and escalated early.
- Help team members understand the objectives, priorities, and delivery value associated with milestones and releases.
- Proactively support effective adoption of Agile SDLC practices across planning, prioritization, development, testing, and delivery.
- Define and manage both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Contribute to functional testing of delivered features to ensure requirements and acceptance criteria are met.
- Support multiple projects and initiatives as required, managing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and project activities as needed.
Required Qualifications & Experience - 4+ years of proven experience working as a Business Analyst, preferably within financial services, capital markets, trading, or related environments.
- Strong understanding of trading applications, order management systems, and the end-to-end trade lifecycle.
- Understanding of the full project lifecycle, from requirements elicitation and analysis through implementation, testing, and production delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to elicit, analyze, and clearly articulate requirements between business and technology stakeholders.
- Experience identifying and defining AI-driven opportunities within trading or financial workflows and translating business requirements into AI-enabled solution specifications.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments, including Agile/SAFe methodologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including experience working with distributed or geographically diverse teams.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to enhance analysis, accelerate delivery, improve documentation, and facilitate stakeholder communication.
- Experience with Jira or similar issue/project management platforms.
- Strong understanding of the SDLC and the importance of quality throughout the development and delivery process.
- Ability to contribute to functional testing and validate that developed features meet defined requirements and delivery criteria.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with a proactive and independent approach to solving problems.
- Ability to challenge existing designs, approaches, and tooling when appropriate to achieve effective project outcomes.

Compensation: $110,000 to $125,000 annually
Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
