Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA preferred
• Extensive experience in leading audit or compliance functions
• Strong project management skills with a focus on team organization and budgeting
• Expertise in frameworks like NIST SP 800 series, FISMA, ISO 27001, and ISO 27000 series
• Knowledge of a broad swath of audit frameworks including GDPR, PCI-DSS, and several ISO standards
• Technical understanding of cloud infrastructures and SaaS technologies

Responsibilities

• Leads expansion of Tanium's audit program
• Develops consistent and repeatable audit methodologies and processes
• Oversees a globally distributed team, managing work priorities and progress
• Tracks and reports critical audit KPIs to leadership
• Ensures audit reports are clear, accurate, and actionable
• Coordinates logistics with external auditors on audit program
• Establishes action plans for identified gaps in audits and assessments
• Advises senior leadership on findings and risk mitigation strategies
• Monitors new technologies and regulations affecting the audit program
• Partners with various departments to implement audit principles
