Job Description

The IT Applications Analyst is a hybrid application and systems role responsible for administering, supporting, and securing core business applications, endpoint devices, and data systems across on-premises and cloud environments. This role develops, maintains, and enforces IT application policies and procedures aligned with NFL and MLS best practices and compliant with PCI, HIPAA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.

The analyst supports and maintains line-of-business applications, including on-premises systems, SaaS platforms, Microsoft Dataverse and Dynamics applications, and specialized document management and workflow tools. This position works directly with end users to understand business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver effective solutions through application platforms. The IT Application Analyst reports to the Director of IT Operations.

Duties
  • Serve as the primary technical owner for assigned business applications.
  • Develop, coordinate approval for, and maintain application support and operations procedures aligned with NIST, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI, and related frameworks.
  • Act as system administrator for major business applications, including case management, ERP, CRM, document management, forms intake, intranet, and legal and IT-specific software.
  • Administer Microsoft SQL Server environments (2016 and later), including backups, restores, indexing, patching, monitoring, and performance tuning.
  • Administer Dataverse environments and support integrations with Power Platform components such as Power Automate, Power Apps, and connectors.
  • Perform data export, import, mining, conversion, and migration activities as needed.
  • Support Microsoft 365 administration and low-code development, with a focus on Intune and SharePoint.
  • Manage endpoint administration through Microsoft Intune for Windows, macOS, and iOS devices, in collaboration with the IT Services Support team to ensure consistent configuration, compliance, and operational readiness.
  • Work with Cybersecurity on application onboarding and vendor assessments.
  • Manage application lifecycles, including requirements gathering, enhancements, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Support AI software initiatives, integrations, and governance frameworks.
  • Administer RBAC access controls and data classification where applicable.
  • Support Teams Phone administration and related integrations.

Required Skills and Experience
  • Hands-on experience with Dataverse administration and Dynamics 365 CRM.
  • Experience with Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and connectors.
  • Understanding of API integrations, OData, and data synchronization patterns.
  • Familiarity with Azure AD/Entra ID, security groups, and application permissions.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 environments and integrations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide clear and concise verbal and written communication regarding analysis, results, and planning.
  • Proven ability to use AI to streamline tasks, enhance analysis, and drive efficiency across the business, not just within a single role.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • IT certification is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience; 8-10 years of IT application support experience strongly preferred.
