Health Insurance - Public Employee Health Program (PEHP):

Retirement - Utah Retirement Systems (URS):

• Employees hired on or after than 7/1/2011 and have never been in the URS retirement system have two options for retirement in the Tier II System. Employer contributions to your 401(k) are vested after four years.
• Employees who have any service credit with an employer covered by the Utah Retirement Systems prior to 7/1/2011 are in Tier I Public Employees System.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain front-end and back-end components using Angular, .NET Framework/Core, and related technologies
• Translate complex data and statistical models into usable web applications
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code
• Participate in peer code reviews and collaborate in Agile/Scrum-like workflows
• Communicate effectively with national partners and stakeholders from diverse technical and non-technical backgrounds
• Support and enhance existing applications while contributing to long-term modernization efforts

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in C# and .NET (Core and Framework)
• Experience with Angular and strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Demonstrated ability to work with relational (SQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases
• Experience with RESTful API design and integration
• Understanding of mathematical and statistical concepts, such as distributions, regression, statistical significance, and data aggregation
• Familiarity with software engineering principles such as Dependency Injection, Inversion of Control, and unit testing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience gathering and documenting technical requirements

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with federal or multi-state systems
• Exposure to labor market data, econometrics, or data visualization
• Prior experience in AWS environments or using Infrastructure as Code tools
• Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility standards and how to implement accessible applications
• Background in technical support or customer-facing development roles
