IS Applications Analyst

Schedule: Full Time, Monday to Friday

Location: Remote

Providence is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Applications Analyst with expertise in productivity software to join our growing IS team in supporting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). In this role, you will leverage standard principles, theories, and concepts related to UKG Pro Workforce Management Healthcare Productivity to address and resolve moderately complex business and technical challenges. You will work alongside a consulting implementation team to establish new or revised systems requirements and procedures to enhance organizational efficiency. Your contributions will be pivotal in analyzing user requirements, developing and enacting systems that accommodate moderately complex processes, and initiating corrective actions to ensure projects stay on schedule for UKG implementation. As an ERP Applications Analyst, you will:
  • Apply knowledge and experience in managing UKG Productivity applications within a large organization.
  • Work in tandem with our consulting implementation team to transition workforce management and productivity application solutions.
  • Align business-centric needs with productivity application solutions, translating business requirements into actionable technical specifications.
  • Communicate effectively to manage stakeholder expectations, including initial triage, mitigation, and resolution of application-related issues.
  • Oversee the development, testing, and implementation of features, change requests, and system updates to address a variety of moderately complex challenges.
  • Balance technical expertise with operations management capability.

Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services, Engineering or Commerce; or a combination of education and relevant experience (at least 3 years of functional experience)
  • 3 years of application design, implementation and/or maintenance of one or more of the following large-scale Enterprise Resource Planning systems: UKG, Premier, Oracle Cloud suite, Oracle EBS/EPM (Hyperion, etc.) Applications, PeopleSoft, Workday, Kronos, a time & attendance module of a large ERP or a large nurse scheduling application


Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Information Services, Business Administration, Accounting, Commerce, CPA, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, HCM
  • 1 year subject matter expertise and experience with UKG Productivity is highly desired
  • 1 year experience with large scale business transformation and productivity application system implementation projects with scope spanning multiple regions and/or geographies and business process areas
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully execute small projects
  • Understanding of methodologies related to application management such as system deployment, support and life cycle
  • Experience in process improvement methodology, change management and operational improvement in complex systems
  • UKG Productivity experience in a healthcare environment (UKG Pro Workforce Management Healthcare Productivity)
