Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a highly skilled Irregular Warfare (IW) Operations Law Enforcement Agency (LEA) Integrator to support our LEA partners in U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) operations.

 

Location: MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL 

  • Travel may be required for training, interagency coordination, or operational support. 

Role & Responsibilities: 

  • This role focuses on integrating law enforcement capabilities with IW military activities to strengthen intelligence fusion, interagency coordination, and security initiatives across the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).
  • As the ideal candidate, you will bring extensive experience in law enforcement, federal investigations, or military policing, coupled with a strong understanding of IW counterthreat operations, criminal intelligence, and mission support in complex operational environments.
  • Additional emphasis will be placed on addressing adversarial advanced conventional weapons (ACW) and uncrewed systems (UxS), including efforts targeting illicit trafficking, procurement networks, and the proliferation of these technologies throughout the region.

 

What You27ll Do:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on law enforcement operations, IW intelligence integration, and interagency coordination within the CENTCOM AOR.
  • Facilitate collaboration between military forces, federal agencies, host nation law enforcement, and coalition partners to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Support counter-threat operations by integrating criminal intelligence, investigative techniques, and law enforcement best practices into DoD missions.
  • Provide expertise on IW counterterrorism (CT), counter insurgency (COIN), counter-narcotics (CN), counter threat networks (CTN), counter-transnational organized crime (CTOC), and illicit networks impacting CENTCOM operations.
  • Analyze and track adversarial procurement, trafficking, and deployment of advanced conventional weapons (ACW) and uncrewed systems (UxS), including uncrewed aerial systems (UAS), uncrewed surface vessels (USV), and autonomous weapon systems.
  • Conduct assessments of criminal, insurgent, and state-sponsored networks involved in illicit weapons transfers and technology proliferation within the AOR.
  • Develop and deliver training, briefings, and operational guidance on law enforcement methodologies, legal considerations, and intelligence-sharing protocols in a CENTCOM-specific context.
  • Support intelligence efforts to detect, disrupt, and interdict illicit supply chains for adversarial ACW and uncrewed systems.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, and international agreements governing law enforcement operations in military environments.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA degree; or minimum of 6 years with MS/MA and relevant work experience in law enforcement, federal investigations, military police, or related fields. 
    • 4 additional years of related experience will be considered in lieu of BS/BA education requirement.
  • Background in federal investigative agencies (HSI, FBI, DEA, ATF, DCIS, etc.) or military law enforcement (NCIS, OSI, MP, CID, etc.). 
  • Recent, relevant, IW experience managing complex investigations and operations, and counter-threat initiatives.
  • IW Experience working with DoD, federal law enforcement agencies, CENTCOM, or other Geographic Combatant Commands (GCCs), and fostering interagency and partner collaboration.
  • Demonstrated experience with advanced investigative techniques, domestic and international risk mitigation, investigative tools, and analytical techniques.
  • Familiarity with Title 10/Title 50 authorities, Posse Comitatus Act, Status of Forces Agreements (SOFA), and foreign law enforcement engagement.
  • Understanding of ACW, UxS, and their role in regional security dynamics, including state and non-state actor threats.
  • U.S. Citizenship required. 
  • Active Top Secret required, with eligibility for SCI.
  • Ability to travel as needed. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 20 years of experience in law enforcement, federal investigations, military police, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of IW intelligence fusion, interagency collaboration, and financial investigative techniques in operational environments.
  • Experience in Irregular Warfare aspects of counter-proliferation investigations (CPI), counter-terrorism (CT), counter-narcotics (CN), transnational criminal organizations (TCOs), or counter-threat finance (CTF).
  • Experience in high-risk operations that exceed the capabilities of traditional law enforcement operations; conducted arrests, search warrants, undercover operations, conducted confidential informant operations, vehicle enforcement, etc.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools, databases, and intelligence systems relevant to CENTCOM operations.
  • Prior experience supporting Special Operations Forces (SOF), Joint Task Forces (JTFs), Joint Strike Forces (JSF), or other deployed military units in CENTCOM27s AOR.
  • Knowledge of adversarial ACW supply chains, illicit technology transfers, and emerging threats from UAS, USV, and autonomous weapons systems.
  • Bachelor27s degree in criminal justice, intelligence, homeland security, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
Target Salary Range$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual27s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
