Responsibilities:

  • Analyze irregular warfare (IW) operational environments, adversary networks, and emerging threats to identify risks, opportunities, and conditions impacting mission success.

  • Assess state and non-state actors, proxy forces, violent extremist organizations, transnational criminal organizations, and other irregular threat networks.

  • Develop intelligence assessments, network analyses, and operational environment products that support IW planning, campaigning, and operational decision-making.

  • Integrate intelligence reporting, socio-cultural factors, political dynamics, economic conditions, and information environment assessments to provide comprehensive operational insight.

  • Support the planning and synchronization of IW activities, including influence operations, sensitive activities, unconventional warfare, and counter-threat network operations.

  • Identify adversary vulnerabilities, leadership structures, support networks, and critical capabilities to inform operational design, targeting, and campaign development.

  • Collaborate with intelligence, operations, cyber, special operations, interagency, and partner organizations to support mission planning and execution.

  • Produce intelligence products, briefings, and recommendations that inform campaign planning, operational assessments, and strategic competition activities.


Qualifications:
Required: 

  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study

  • 8+ years of experience supporting irregular warfare, intelligence operations, special operations, military planning, or national security missions

  • Demonstrated experience conducting operational environment analysis, network analysis, threat assessments, and intelligence production in support of military operations

  • Experience analyzing state and non-state actors, insurgencies, terrorist organizations, proxy networks, transnational criminal organizations, or strategic competitors

  • Proven ability to develop intelligence assessments, operational analyses, and executive-level briefings that support planning and decision-making


Desired:

  • Master’s degree in National Security Studies, Intelligence Studies, International Relations, Strategic Studies, Political Science, or a related field

  • Experience supporting Special Operations Forces (SOF), Combatant Commands, Joint Task Forces, or interagency organizations

  • Prior knowledge and experience integrating intelligence analysis with Operations in the Information Environment (OIE), influence activities, sensitive activities, unconventional warfare, or counter-threat network operations

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
