About the Role:

As an IP Design Verification Engineer, you will focus on verification of Ampere IPs and SoCs. Your work will ensure that our IPs meet functional, performance, and power requirements of our products. You will be at the forefront of innovation, collaborating closely with architecture, design, and post-silicon teams and helping us deliver leading edge, high performance, and energy efficient products.

What You'll Achieve:
  • Define strategy and requirements for block level and chip level testing infrastructure.
  • Create test plans for unit-level and chip-level verification
  • Design and implement test benches and verification environment
  • Develop random test generators to generate tests, debug failures, evaluate coverage of design
  • Define post-si validation plans and debug post-silicon system level failures

About you:
  • 3+ years of hardware verification experience.
  • Knowledge of high-performance CPUs and System level architecture/microarchitecture for any industry-standard architecture.
  • Experience in verifying complex IPs.
  • Experience in building SVTB/SV UVM/OVM based verification environments and using industry standard HDL languages (e.g., System Verilog) and simulation tools.
  • Programming experience in languages common to the industry (e.g., C, C++, Perl, Python) and x86 or ARM assembly language.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills, attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
  • Excellent written, verbal and technical communication skills.
  • Familiarity with using AI tools to boost productivity .

Education:
  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science & 5 years of related experience or MS degree & 3 years

The full base pay range for this role is between $147,000 and $220,000, except in the San Francisco Bay Area where the range is between $159,000 and $239,000.
