Job Summary
The iOS Developer will design, develop, maintain, and enhance feature-rich mobile applications for iOS platforms. The role requires strong expertise in Objective-C, Swift, iOS frameworks, user-interface development, testing, debugging, and performance optimization. The developer will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software, develop new features, improve existing applications, and ensure applications meet Apple's standards for reliability, performance, and user experience. This position is based in Austin, TX or Sunnyvale, CA and requires an onsite interview.
Key Responsibilities
• Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of full-stack applications for iOS platforms.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to evaluate and prioritize new feature requirements.
• Collaborate with design teams to propose and refine user interface elements that enhance the overall user experience.
• Participate in and drive code reviews, ensuring code is thoroughly tested, well-documented, and aligned with Apple's standards.
• Build and maintain tooling to facilitate automated testing and ensure software reliability and performance.
• Debug and optimize applications for memory management, power management, and overall performance.
• Develop and maintain high-quality iOS applications while following established iOS design principles and development practices.
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience developing feature-rich applications for iOS.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Objective-C and Swift.
• Expertise in user-interface programming.
• Proficiency with iOS frameworks such as SwiftUI and UIKit or AppKit.
• Advanced knowledge of iOS design principles and guidelines.
• Experience designing software to support unit testing, UI testing, and integration testing.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills, including power management and memory management.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Ability to participate in an onsite interview.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in the AI/ML domain.
